About us
The North Sea Tourism Service GmbH (NTS) is the central tourism marketing organization of the North Sea Schleswig-Holstein.
The Company's object is the strengthening and further development of tourism in the region of the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein.
The object of the company is in particular the acquisition of new customers for the holiday destination nordsee* Schleswig-Holstein by generating customer contacts as well as image transport and strengthening of the brand nordsee* Schleswig-Holstein.
Task of the company besides this is to work on the common concern of its shareholders in general and fundamental importance as a tourist association and to represent in the respective organizations, especially on state level.
The NTS was established on 1 January 2000 as a subsidiary of the North Sea Baths Association e. V. (NBV). Since 1969 the NBV was the tourism policy organ of the West coast of Schleswig-Holstein. The NBV was dissolved by the integration of all former members becoming shareholders of the NTS at the end of 2008. The tasks of the NBV are perceived by the NTS as well as the Tourism Federation of Schleswig - Holstein e.V. (TVSH) on state level.
The NTS is well-placed in sustainable lean and efficient structures. In addition to a general meeting and an executive board the NTS is working with a strong marketing advisory board, composed of the tourism marketing partners of the region.
